This One Concept Changed Modes for Me!!!

Modes…Shots fired across the groups and forums on the internet, especially in guitar circles. What are they? Modes are ways to express different tonalities and harmonies depending on the number of notes in a given scale. Whew! That was a mouthful!

It boils down to this; if you have seven different notes in a key or scale, you will have seven different modes. Some of these modes will sound happy like major chords and other modes will sound heavy and dramatic like minor chords.

I have devised a way to LEARN these modes and LATER APPLY the fingerings for which sounds I want to achieve. Maybe this will help you too!
