Arpeggios are so cool!!

My buddy Treble asked me to write a lesson that would remind him of the bands Poison and Incubus. Per his request, I wrote Giggle Monster. I’m using the A7 chord to draw the melody for the song. The A7 arpeggio is made up of A C# E and G. I also used the 12 bar blues format to structure the song. The reason for 12 bar blues is because the audience is familiar with this format so it makes remembering the melodies much easier. The song then takes a turn for tension in the turnaround with the F chord so it makes the audience perk up the ears slightly and serves as a cue for the band to start wrapping up the song. I will ask Treble for some tips he can share with everyone to help create solutions to any pesky problems that might arise in practice.
